More than a hundred outstanding classics ranging in age from a 1927 Buick Raceabout to a 2007 Ford Mustang GT500 have entered the 8th NZ National Classic Car Rally taking place in Central Otago next March. Open to all owners of classic vehicles, the rally will be based in Cromwell from Sunday March 2nd till Saturday March 8th 2008 and then move to Dunedin to join in the annual “Best of British” event organized by the Otago Jaguar Drivers Club on Sunday December 9th. Entries have been received from Kerikeri to Invercargill and include the last winner of the rally, Transport Safety Minister Harry Duynhoven and two-time winners Mike and Michelle Wright of Canterbury. But it is not too late to enter as there is still room for more.
